Making a call
You can start a call anytime from Amplify:- Click Start Now from the left sidebar.
- Enter or select a phone number.
- Click the Call icon to begin.
- Mute or unmute your microphone
- Access the dial pad
- Record the call
- End the call at any time
Receiving calls
When someone calls your Amplify number:- An in-app calling window appears
- You can answer or decline the call
- Call duration and status are tracked automatically
Call history overview
The Calls page displays a detailed log of your activity, including:- Number – The phone number involved in the call
- Status – Missed, completed, or voicemail
- Activity – Incoming or outgoing
- Duration – Length of the call
- Date – When the call occurred
Call filters
Use filters on the left panel to quickly find the calls you need:- Open – Calls that still need attention
- Done – Completed and reviewed calls
- Unresponded – Calls without a follow-up
- Missed – Calls that were not answered
- Voicemail – Calls that left a voicemail
- Incoming – Calls you received
- Outgoing – Calls you placed
- Archived – Calls you’ve archived
Calls and conversations
Calls are connected with related conversations whenever possible. This means you can:- View messages or shared files alongside calls
- Continue the conversation without switching tools
- Keep all communication history in one place
